We are happy to announce that artists Ellie Vermunt and Kaide Gonzalez have been selected to represent Sweden in dancEUA: Choreo Sync, an academy for emerging choreographers to provide them with opportunities to develop their skills.
10 choreographers, two choreographers from each partner country, have been selected to participate and collaborate with Central Europe Dance Theatre (CEDT) company dancers in the creation of short dance compositions in Budapest, Hungary. The compositions will be presented to the public on the last day of the whole residency program on 14 November within the framework of Sissi Autumn Dance week.
Choreo Sync is organized as a part of dancEUA, a Creative Europe project (2025-2027) created by Studio Contemporary Dance Company – SSP (Croatia), Central Europe Dance Theatre – CEDT (Hungary), M Studio (Romania), Vitlycke – CPA (Sweden) and UA Contemporary Dance Platform (Ukraine) to empower Ukrainian contemporary dance through creativity, connection and resilience.
