Choreographer, teacher and writer Jonathan Burrows shares an informal presentation of his current thinking and research into the nature and value of choreography, asking what it is and how we might find new ways to describe it for a future generation of dancers working in new ways across different backgrounds and forms of dance. The work draws upon thinking from neuroscience, cognitive philosophy and anthropology, posing the question ‘What if everyone who dances is already choreographing?’.
