Ukrainian Contemporary Dance Platform announces an open call for EU Dance Platform in Ukraine

Ukrainian Contemporary Dance Platform is happy to announce an international OPEN CALL for participation in EU Dance Platform in Ukraine, which we are organizing within the frame of the dancEUA project, co-financed by Creative Europe.
The EU Dance Platform will present dance performances by choreographers and dance companies based in Croatia, Romania, Hungary and Sweden to the Ukrainian audience in Lviv. We plan to organize events with 2-3 performances in the fall 2026, spring 2027, and fall 2027. Each performance is expected to reach an audience of 80–150 spectators and will receive media coverage. Also you will be invited to take part in the artist talk.
The Platform covers:
- travel costs
- accommodation
- subsistence in amount of 35 euro per person per day
- artistic fee
EU Dance Platform in Ukraine is organized as a part of the dancEUA, a Creative Europe project (2024-2027) created by Studio Contemporary Dance Company – SSP (Croatia), Central Europe Dance Theatre – CEDT (Hungary), M Studio (Romania), Vitlycke – CPA (Sweden) and UA Contemporary Dance Platform (Ukraine) to empower Ukrainian contemporary dance through creativity, connection and resilience.
Who is EU Dance Platform in Ukraine for?
- this open call is for professional dance companies, choreographers and performers based in the partner countries: Croatia, Hungary, Romania and Sweden
- we are looking for stage-ready contemporary dance performances suitable for presentation in Lviv, with a complete technical rider and touring capacity and touring teams of up to 5 people
