Central Europe Dance Theatre (CEDT) is happy to announce an international OPEN CALL for participation in dancEUA Choreo Sync, which we are organising within the frame of the dancEUA Creative Europe project, co-financed by the European Union.
Choreo Sync is an academy for emerging choreographers (defined by artistic experience, not age) to provide them with opportunities to develop their skills and collaborate with CEDT company dancers in the creation of short dance compositions.
10 choreographers, two choreographers from each partner country, will be selected to participate, and three or four choreographers will work in parallel during each working period. During 1+3 days of residency, the choreographers create 10 short dance compositions in cooperation with a mentor. The compositions will be presented to the public on the last day of the whole residency program on 14 November.
