What does it really mean to grow, is it only a physical evolution or something deeper? Is growth an action or a state of being? Does it exist only in comparison to what came before?

What are the negative qualities of growing, and what happens when we are confronted with our destructive sides?

How can the consequences of our growth coexist within us?

THE GARDEN is a three‑part dance performance about what it means to be human, exploring the inner human journey through development, breakdown, and integration. The performance is based on the idea that human development is not linear, but moves in spirals.

We grow just as much when we regress and we then learn to integrate all of this into a more conscious whole.
