We are pleased to welcome Minna Elif Wendin to Vitlycke – Centre for Performing Arts to develop two projects: UV2093 and eko.
UV2093
UV2093 is the beginning of a movement. An explosion. It starts with a woodcut, the solar movement manifest, punk, dance and reused glitter from a queer performance. During the residency, Minna will rework the choreography of Under the wave 2080 to the soloperformance UV2093. UV2093 and Under the wave 2080 are one of many sketches in an ongoing project called The Wave.
An excerpt from the soloperformance UV2093 will be presented in a pilot of the project CHAMBRE SOLEIL on the 16th of april at Aftonstjärnan in Gothenburg.
CHAMBRE SOLEIL is a danceart, public education and audience development project in cooperation with artistled platforms, craft associations and Folkets hus och parker through Aftonstjärnan in Gothenburg. CHAMBRE SOLEIL is a concept developed by choreographer Moa Matilda Sahlin.
eko
Minna will also work on a new project called eko: a choreographic experiment with sounds that can remind of oceans.
Minna Elif Wendin is active as dancer, choreographer, teacher and project manager with experience in the dance and performing arts fields. In recent years, they have developed audience and participant-based projects. Minna has a master’s degree in performative arts from the University of Gothenburg and is educated at the Stockholm Academy of the Arts.
