Clear and attentive communication can foster a stronger sense of self-determination and control, an essential foundation for a meaningful life and, ultimately, a higher quality of living.

Working in a duet format, we explore different forms of communication in relation to one another and to ourselves, using concrete, everyday objects and familiar situations as points of departure. Guided by a shared checklist as our frame of reference, we investigate boundaries, listening, defense mechanisms, words, gestures, and silence.
Our hope is to discern the many ways communication takes shape and, in doing so, invite the audience to recognize themselves and reflect upon their own patterns of interaction.

About Hannah
Hannah Karlsson is a choreographer and dancer who has been active as a freelance artist in Gothenburg for over a decade, collaborating with several dance companies as well as developing her own projects. Since early 2022, she has also been employed part-time as a dancer with Danskompaniet Spinn.
Hannah is a multifaceted performer whose work, often infused with subtle humor, moves fluidly between profound seriousness and playful lightness. Recurring interests in her artistic practice include human behavioral patterns, popular culture, and states of waiting.

About Rebecca
Rebecca Evanne is a choreographer, dancer, and educator who moves freely across genres. Their choreographic work spans musicals such as Wicked and Mary Poppins, contemporary dance productions, opera, and collaborations with artists including Malena Ernman and Håkan Hellström.
As a dancer, Rebecca has performed on stages such as Dansens Hus, 3:e Våningen, Moderna Dansteatern, China Teatern, Folkteatern in Gothenburg, and Scandinavium. Rebecca has also been a dedicated educator at Balettakademien in Gothenburg since 1998.
