What is DCL – Dance Communication Lab?
A 3-day artistic exchange for 6 professional dancers (one from each partner country) focused on improvisation as a communicative and expressive tool.
This year’s edition is themed FIESTA — an invitation to celebrate joy, affirmation, and collective energy.

The lab is co-led by:
Ola Bożek-Muszyńska – dancer, choreographer, performer, co-curator of the Improvised Dance Scene [sic!] Saute. In her practice, she explores the boundaries between simplicity and naivety, presentation and facilitation, and finding and breaking patterns.
Marcin Bożek – bassist, improviser, teacher, and founder of the Gdynia Improvisers Orchestra. He improvises with musicians, actors, painters, artists, dancers and solo. Winner of many awards in international competitions and festivals.
Together, they will guide participants in a shared creative process based on equality, experimentation, and joy.

Schedule:
• 26.8 – Arrival in Krakow
• 27–29.8 – Creative process at Cricoteka
• 29.8 – Final public performance
• 30.8 – Departure

Who can apply?
Professional dancers, choreographers, and movement practitioners from:
Sweden | Hungary | Slovenia | Croatia | Poland | Romania
Applicants should have:
• Stage or performance experience
• A submitted CV, short bio (100 words), and video work (YouTube/Vimeo/Drive link)

We offer:
• Accommodation (4 nights: 26–30 August)
• Daily catering
• Travel costs (covered by your national Beyond Front@ partner)
• A fee of €150 gross (also covered by the partner organization)
