Operations coordinator at Vitlycke – Centre for Performing Arts

At Vitlycke-CPA we are now looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team, to complement our current team and contribute to both our public operations and residency programs. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and inspiring environment for both artists and visitors. You will ensure that our operations run smoothly, while also experiencing the dynamic and inspiring world of artistic residencies and performing arts.

Duties

Your duties will be varied and include, among other things:

  • Welcome artists and guests and give them an introduction to Vitlycke-CPA and our work.
  • Take care of the house and ensure that all parts of the venue are in order, from interior design to functionality.
  • Work with public events – check tickets, assist guests and ensure that everything runs smoothly during the events.
  • Distribute posters and brochures in the area to market our events and spread information about our work.
  • Assist with logistical tasks around workshops, festivals and other projects.
  • Coordinate and help with practical matters and contribute solutions to ensure that everything runs smoothly during both the residency and larger projects.

About you

The work as an operations coordinator is very outgoing and involves many meetings with people. We are looking for someone who enjoys such an environment, is solution-oriented and has an eye for detail. You are self-driven, responsible and have a good ability to work both independently and in a team.

Your background

  • You have an interest in art/culture/performing arts, as well as experience from service professions such as in the hospitality industry, retail or similar.
  • You can communicate effectively in both Swedish and English.
  • A B driving license is a requirement.

The position

The position is a need-based position with working hours of at least 2-4 hours per week, with the possibility of more hours in the summer and autumn of 2025, for larger projects or events, depending on planned activities and the residency. Working hours in the evenings and weekends may occur.
