For the second year in a row, street dance choreographers and groups are given chance to create performances!
Residency and tour is organised by VGR Förvaltningen för kulturutveckling, Vitlycke – Centre for Performing Arts, Stora Teatern, Vara Konserthus, Vänersborgs Kommun and Danscentrum Väst with support of Västra Götalands Regionen. Artists in residency are Lauri Lohi och Alexandr Antochvili.

O(SÄKERT) – Theme: mental illness / self-confidence
Four trips. Four stories about four different individuals, each chasing their dream within the culture that raised them. Everyone encounters almost the same obstacles, experiences the same insecurities and goes through the same hurricanes of drama and anxiety that almost all artists go through.
Of Monsters and Monsters
Is a dance performance that explores manifestations of shame and how to become friend with the feeling by giving it a physical form. Through playful and dystopian world-building and Anna Poleteli’s costumes, performance provides the opportunity to animate shame and explore it through street and club dance-based movements.
