Residency by BODHI PROJECT during which the team of dancers will work with choreographer Francesco Scavetta.

BODHI PROJECT is a showcase for new choreographic voices on the international contemporary dance scene. It is considered one of the most profiled contemporary companies for young professional dancers in Europe which focuses on the avantgarde. BODHI PROJECT is internationally recognized as an exceptional platform for contemporary choreography and consistently reinvents itself with a sensational artistic range. It showcases the artistic and technical excellence of the dancers‘ complex movement repertory, demanding theatrical elements and a strong stage presence.The choreographers are specifically selected due to their varied approaches to choreography.

For this season 2019/2020 internationally acclaimed choreographers Stephanie Thiersch, Hillel Kogan, Francesco Scavetta and Adrienn Hód have been commissioned to work with BODHI PROJECT.

Guided by the artistic director Susan Quinn, the founder and director of SEAD – Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance, BODHI PROJECT creates new exciting works in residency at SEAD and touring internationally the globe expanding and exploring new performance venues.

During the last years, the company has worked with Nigel Charnock, Martin Nachbar, Zoë Knights, Maya Lipsker, Matija Ferlin, Anton Lachky, Jozef Frucek, Linda Kapetanea, Magdalena Reiter, Matej Kejzar, Diego Gil, Jelka Milic, Robert Clark, Stella Zannou, Marco Torrice, Bostjan Antoncic, Moya Michael, Étienne Guilloteau, Eldad Ben Sasson, Jukstapoz / Christine Gouzelis and Paul Blackman, Jarkko Mandelin (FIN), Cecilia Bengolea (ARG/FRA), Lali Ayguade (ESP), Sita Ostheimer, GN | MC – Guy Nader & Maria Campos, Josè Agudo, Francesco Scavetta and Lisi Estaras.
