Performances “Touching Sound” and “Open Wound” + film “Cualquier Mañana” on Friday, 7th of June

“Touching Sound” is improvisation performance by Laura Aris, with live music by tuba player Martin Taxt.

Film “Cualquier Mañana” (”At any given morning”) by Vitaly Kim, DAR, Álvaro Esteban and Laura Aris. It is an emotional reflection about the natural sadness of broken things and a physical journey in the present to realize that the past does not come back.
Performance: Open wound

“Open Wound” is a performance, created by Laura Aris as a part of a series of solo micro-actions. The performance was developed during an artistic residency at Hkapa in Hong Kong Academy for Perfroming Arts. The perfromance is described as dancework that “goes beyond what the audience reads as a dance piece. It is something like unfolding a body language sustained by dance, but at the same time, nourished by potent theatricality.”
