A group of international dance and theatre artists collaborate to understand and unwrap the prophecy of the Voluspå from the poetic Edda – the most expansive source on Norse mythology.
At the end of their three weeks residency at Vitlycke – Centre for Performing Arts, company Ymist share a work-in-progress performance having as a central theme the Voluspå – the possibility or inevitability of the end of times.
The group will also demonstrate their collective training methods – the Japanese acting training, Suzuki and the improvisation technique, Viewpoints.
In April 2015, the piece will be performed in community houses around Norway.
